Hello like minded friends?,

I have been reading about the results of the so called natural disasters, around the world and in particular the USA, relating to the above issues and am both amazed and disgusted by the lack of support and financial help, that these unfortunate people, of all ages, races, religions, who are having to live in their cars, with bad health care, for those with various disabilities, and they are receiving almost nothing from the state, religious (whats happened to the Christian cpnsciousness) and other groups. Charities are doing what they can, with very little help from the wealthy members of the popolation, "I'M ALRIGHT JACK ATTITUDE" and the rich oil and other companies, are making money out of the cause of this issue.

This is happening while your tax payers, are paying for the misguided wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, plus other ventures, such as global warming etc.

This is just the the beginning, of what I and many others have been writing and talking about for months, Climate Change and the disastrous weather conditions, which are gradually overtaking us, at this time.

I have mentioned this in my other blogs, and it is really happening now.

I am both surprised and very pleased that in Edition 570:: 02/08/2008 - 16/08/2008 of our local English Newspaper in Tenerife "The Island Connections" which covers the Canary Islands, published a two page article with a picture, Headed "Running Out Of Time" and I take the liberty of quoting it on this blog: In an Exclusive Interview with Dr Emilio Cuevas Aguilio, the director of the Instituto of the Nacional de Meterologia.

The Sub Heading States: "Climate Change is Happening at a Pace that has taken even the Scientists by Surprize - but How and When Will It Really Hit?"
