Hello Like Minded Friends, Yet another form of control, "Voter ID Battle Shifts to Proof of Citizenship" in Missouri. The new proposed amendment, has been put forward by guess who, a republican person. to confuse the lower income voters. It is not clear if current registered voters, will have to obtain a new form of identification before the Presidential Election? Its a handy way of getting rid of people who oppose your candidate, before they have a chance to vote.

I believe, and you may agree, that if a person lives in any country, and pays tax, he or she should be able to have their say on how it is spent, by voting for change, in this election.

Michael Moore has shown in his films that the senior military recruitment NCOs, move into the poorest unemployed areas, to sign up young people, to join the war promotion machine.

Do they ask to to see proof of their identity, before they are taken off to be enlisted, trained and sent off to Iraq or Afghanistan, to serve their country, and to possibly be killed, maimed or injured, in the process, in mind, body and spirit, and returned home to ask for help, and there are many, many thousands still waiting to receive assistance.

I have also heard that persons with a serious criminal record, are also enlisted now, to provide gun fodder for the outgoing US administration, to send off to the battlefields of the world.

THE BLOSSOM PROJECT

How children can be ambassadors of change.

The Blossom Project was born out of intensely energetic discussion during a Toronto gathering of the Alliance For A New Humanity. The project is the brain child of Kim Klingler, a Toronto mother, whose passion is helping children to achieve their highest potential and in so doing, change the world. Recognizing the immense potential in children, Kim began with one Toronto school, hoping to inspire the children - the "roots of society" - with heart based wisdom and experiential tools. The program was a success and the Blossom Project has been blooming ever since.

As a mother of two young girls, it was Kim's intention to introduce pre-school and elementary school children to the marvelous benefits of meditation, enabling them to experience the magical truth of our interconnectedness. The chilren readily embraced the belief " that peace was not to be found in a fuzzy blanket, but rather, it was inside of them waiting to be chosen", Kim says "The discovery enables the children to recogniize that they hold hold the Power for Change, to transform our world. It is very inspiring to watch twenty Grade One children sit in meditation for 15 minutes.

Blossom children learn how to connect to their inner compass, a place inside, where they can foster confidence, sharpen attention and harmonize with their true being and with the world they participate in. Blossom has a unique tool - base program - married with powerful stories creating opportunities of discovery, raising awareness and opening children's hearts to the magical interconnectedness of all living things. Blossom children discover how their thoughts and choices create reality, affect the reality of others, and ultimately the world.

These children are not only living the change, they have become the ambassadors of change. An entire community of change has been created through the children, and Blossom now has mentors comprised of mothers, fathers, community leaders and retired elders, who bring a wealth of wisdom to the program. "The project is growing and my heart is rewarded with every flicker of realization in each childs heart" Kim says.

Hello Like Minded Friends, I am a European trying to keep up my support for Senator Barack Obama, to win the election. I read that it seems likely that what we UK citizens call a D. notice has been placed on the US press, on any further investigation, on what is being called the "Pentagon Propaganda Scandal" who I understand were allowed one small report, and since then nothing.

Instead the press has given a lot of time and space to the overstated and damaging remarks against Barack Obama, by a certain Rev. Person, so called, which is not only giving an advantage to the Ex-First-Lady, in the minds of some of the votors, re her bid for returning to the White House, but it is also is damaging to the Democratic Party as a whole, thereby giving a further advantage to the opposing party and its Candidate.

This sort of action, as we all know, has the habit, like the boomerang, of returning to the sender, with resultant damage. Can anyone help me with answers, regarding this issue? More Later. Sincerely, Mike Tenerife

Hello Like Minded Friends, Where is everybody?? I have spent my time setting up new blogs, covering Meditate & Educate Holistically, I've found a new friend in Canada, who is in the process of creating an Institute, to teach children to Meditate.

I have also been keeping my eyes and ears open on the Internet, and I am shocked at the number of American teenagers who are homeless, who are committing suicide and who are shooting their class
mates and other people (I read on Yahoo news that 300,000 US soldiers in Iraq are suffering from nervous tension, and other mind problems, what will their lives be like, if and when they return home) Possibly they are thinking that if the warlike US politics continue, they will also end up the same way.

I have set up a blog to locate and publicize individuals, Organizations, Alternative Lifestyle and non profit groups worldwide, who are Helping homeless teenagers and older people to rehabilitate, to a new and more harmonious holistic way of life, with positive goals to uplift them.

I read on wordpress.com, that the money that has been spent on Human and Environmental sacrifice and damage in Iraq, would have been enough to uplift and provide hope and a home for most of the homeless young people in the USA, and it seems that there are still thousands of American voters who want this to continue?

I intend to link with my other sites, and I am hoping to find a volunteer Webmaster who is prepared to offer my group a few hours a week, to help to get this project off the ground. What has happened to all my like minded friends on Blogstream.com? All for now. Sincerely Mike Tenerife

Hello Like Minded Friends, I have been writing blogs on blogstream and other sites, along with other writers, for many months now, trying to gain the attention and the support of the many millions of bloggers world wide, who understand English, and who are aware of the worlds many problems.

I am doing this in the knowledge, that it could help our readers to create healing changes in their own lives, in their own countries and the way that they are governed, to a more decontrolled, accessible, accountable, transparent, peaceful and harmonious and open minded Holistic way of life, in this war torn and environmentally damaged world, in which we just about exist.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel in the Person of Senator Barack Obama, who I feel is also working to create change, in the lives of not only the American people, but to help to create and establish an example for the rest of the world to copy. He realises that the present situation is not only costing many thousands of young lives but also millions, possibly billions of Dollars, but also economic and human resources. There are many political, religious and commercial leaders who fear change, because it may mean that they lose money and short term profits, and the control of the people, and are as usual thinking in the short term and for selfish reasons, not thinking in the long term and trying to understanding the needs of the people that they are controlling.

My friends and acquaintances here in Tenerife and elsewhere, ask me why, they say you will be 75 years old on the 8th, (Which is also the 2nd. world war Victory in Europe Day) May next, you suffer from an incurable illness, you have no family and children alive, that you aware of, why are you sitting at your computer sending this message out to the uncaring population. My reasons are as follows, I am an open minded Buddhist, a believer in reincarnation, (which if you take the time, as I did to research, on the Internet, you will find that all the main religions believed this before they were interfered with by their priests) and Holistic Activist, and have been vegetarian for the past 50 years.

I regard all life as sacred, and I believe in the Christian Commandment of "Thou shalt not kill" and living to serve others, not only myself, which many sections and leaders of the Christian Church, and other man altered religions, seem to have conveniently completely forgotton.

I am endeavouring to put the concept forward that Human and Animal sacrifice on the present battlefield of the world, will not bring peace, only more violence and death in return, on all sides, as the daily news tells us. It is also my hope, that if I return to to this Planet, in my next incarnation, that it has changed from a war torn world, to a more peaceful place to live in.
