Each of the orthodox religions started out as one faith, and after their formation, they started to be divided and controlled by mainly men, who were seeking power, using whatever means was available, to get it, which included the sword, war, conquest, and forced conversion to their way of thinking, by dogmatic thought, word and deed, thereby trying to control the lives of million of people, to satisfy their need for power, under the guise of teaching us their version of the true faith.

This has been marked down in our history books, by incidents of burning, torture, conquest, not peace, love, unity and harmony. Are todays religions teaching us spiritual values, I and many others think they are are dividing us further away from the true Spiritual Path.

So we could truthfully say that many, if not all aspects of orthodox religion has been the cause of conflict, for thousands of years, do we want to alter this control, in this year of change 2008?

This has happened in Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and many of the Eastern faiths,(I follow the Middle Way of Buddhism) and this is continuing to divide individuals, groups, nations and countries today, and the misguided leaders try to control the people we elect to govern us, plus others, who have a vested interest in the getting help from politicians, global warming and other related subjects are examples. First of all I wish to bring to your attention an Oooops on my part. I wrote this blog first, tried to submit it and thouhgt I had failed, so i wrote another, put it up and this Blog mysteriously re-appeared as so many things seem to do on Blogstream. Please forgive the repeats. I think that they are both worth reading. Please comment if yo think so:

You may think that this has little to do with Holistic Governance, but it has been provided in the US Elections, the hate that been shown towards the men and women, who are are trying (with your help I hope) make 2008 a year of change.

For just how many thousands of years, has any aspect of this way of life brought peace, love and unity, compassion, and real spirituality, to any of its followers or in particular to those of us who have an alternative faith and lifestyle.

If you can tell me of any incident in our human history that is not marked by war, conquest, forced conversion, human sacrifice, creating disunity and hate between groups, races, religions, within nations, between countries, and even families.

There are a great many people who lead a truly spiritually orientated way of life that are not controlled by dogma. and the man made religions of today, the leaders of which are trying to control our free will, the way we dress, our politics, what we eat and how our countries are being run, plus

These men, in Islam, as an example, who indoctrinate and hypnotize people of all ages, to go out and kill themselves, and many others, while sitting safely in their hiding places, they are not only killers, but also they are cowards, and I'm sure that they are not following the Founders Concept of Islam.

This all being done in the their attempt to create fear, and try to convert the infidels, so called, to their murderous way of life, to try to gain political world power, falsely in the name of Islam.

We will only change this issue, by educating and offering the suicide bombers and those who support them, a more beneficial and inspiring future. The way to do this I must leave to the powers that be, but suggestion would be welcome.

We will not do this by killing those who support them, that will just create more deaths, in addition to killing our own soldiers. More Later, Sincerely, Mike Tenerife

I don't wont to bore you by repeating all the info. from my previous Blogs, but I feel duty bound to bring the following matter to your urgent attention, it could help to save your lives, it will also help you to understand whats happening in the environment. (update 08/07/2008. G8 have agreed to reduce green house gases by 50% by 2050, if this environmental disaster happens, many of us will be dead by then) Have you read "The Coming Global Superstorm" by Art Bell & Whitley Strieber, published by Pocket Books. Its predictions are happening now in many countries.

I will mention a short quote from page 223. "The Arctic is melting now, (this refers to the late 1990s) and it would appear that it will be a few more years before extensive summer melt takes place (its about 9 years) and the conditions favorable to a superstorm, are present" (fresh water mixing with sea water) well, according to a scientific report, this ice melt will take place this summer, in the Arctic.

Are you prepared to deal with the result. Are you personally helping to reduce global warming, which is only a part of the cause, and are you preparing to take precautions for yourself, your family, friends, and the Whole Planet. Are you asking your local or national governments for advice on what they are doing about it. In my own experience with 75 years of life on this Planet, this tells me no, you are not. Most of us are just carrying on with your daily lives, and ignoring the the warnings and the possble outcome. We have all had enough warnings. which we all know about, by watching the News on T/V or reading about, or seeing it on the Internet or in the Newspapaers, or perhaps its been happening in our own home town, county or country. Please Act Now, Before its Too Late.

As some of you may know, I spend most of waking hours on the computer researching and promoting holistic healing ideas and concepts. I don't know if any bloggers on blogstream suffer from HIVAIDs, but I have now found two comparatively new Websites, which may help them to make new friends also assists them in their healing process. I am also looking for other holistic groups, that are helping abused, homeless, or hungry street children and teenagers, or sick people of any age, including war veterans, cancer sufferers, paraplegics, plus, in all walks of life, or altenative lifestyles. If you know of any individuals or groups, please leave a comment on this site.
