Hello Like Minded Friends, I have been writing blogs on blogstream and other sites, along with other writers, for many months now, trying to gain the attention and the support of the many millions of bloggers world wide, who understand English, and who are aware of the worlds many problems.

I am doing this in the knowledge, that it could help our readers to create healing changes in their own lives, in their own countries and the way that they are governed, to a more decontrolled, accessible, accountable, transparent, peaceful and harmonious and open minded Holistic way of life, in this war torn and environmentally damaged world, in which we just about exist.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel in the Person of Senator Barack Obama, who I feel is also working to create change, in the lives of not only the American people, but to help to create and establish an example for the rest of the world to copy. He realises that the present situation is not only costing many thousands of young lives but also millions, possibly billions of Dollars, but also economic and human resources. There are many political, religious and commercial leaders who fear change, because it may mean that they lose money and short term profits, and the control of the people, and are as usual thinking in the short term and for selfish reasons, not thinking in the long term and trying to understanding the needs of the people that they are controlling.

My friends and acquaintances here in Tenerife and elsewhere, ask me why, they say you will be 75 years old on the 8th, (Which is also the 2nd. world war Victory in Europe Day) May next, you suffer from an incurable illness, you have no family and children alive, that you aware of, why are you sitting at your computer sending this message out to the uncaring population. My reasons are as follows, I am an open minded Buddhist, a believer in reincarnation, (which if you take the time, as I did to research, on the Internet, you will find that all the main religions believed this before they were interfered with by their priests) and Holistic Activist, and have been vegetarian for the past 50 years.

I regard all life as sacred, and I believe in the Christian Commandment of "Thou shalt not kill" and living to serve others, not only myself, which many sections and leaders of the Christian Church, and other man altered religions, seem to have conveniently completely forgotton.

I am endeavouring to put the concept forward that Human and Animal sacrifice on the present battlefield of the world, will not bring peace, only more violence and death in return, on all sides, as the daily news tells us. It is also my hope, that if I return to to this Planet, in my next incarnation, that it has changed from a war torn world, to a more peaceful place to live in.

Our governments worldwide, are constantly creating fear in our hearts and minds, about the threat of Terrorist attacks, a further means of control, but I discovered on a search on the Internet, that we are also being attacked in our homes, via the Tap Water Supply.

It has been detected, in addition to those required by law, that (and is being investigated by scientists) in the USA and the UK. our Tap Water supply contains up to a 100 different pharmaceutical drugs, which include antibiotics, anti-convalsants, mood stabilizers, to name but a few, no wonder that some of us sometimes get muddle headed and violent...

This pollution has also been detected in our reservoirs, lakes and rivers, It appears that it passes through 13 people, before it is tipped into the sea, and later consumed by fish, which in turn is eaten by non vegetarians, but we veggies do not escape, because the plants and vegetables that we eat are also watered by the same tape water.

As I have mentioned in previous blogs, a great deal of money in the form of Tax is gained by governments and shareholders, from the sale of tobacco, alcohol and pharmaceutical drugs, part of which is later spent on telling the public, not to smoke and drink and drive. I do not understand people who tell me that they are happy with the way that we live, and are goveerned, and that they don't want Change.

I also learnt that the local councils and water companies, could not afford to install the only water filter "Reverse Osmosis" that is able to to remove these drugs, from our water supply, in each of our homes, because it is too expensive.

I was taught the art of selling by a very famous British Jewish gentleman, that is, "A small profit and quick return, is better than a big profit and slow or zero return.

Surely this Holistic principle, would enable the Have Not's (Yes I'm back to that topic) to afford this important Water Filter, to enable them to spend less on expensive medical care, and pharmaceutical drugs, which appear to be one of the causes of this aspect of pollution, in the first place. Before I get onto the above topic there are three things I want to mention: Am I being presumptuous in thinking that a blog title, Nice Try, was intended for me, in response to a comment I made, on a blog recently, which was written by a man that I have never met, spoken to, seen a photo of, or received an e-mail from, but for whom I have a great deal of respect, despite the fact that I don't always agree with him?

Secondly I was pleased to read on Yahoo News, about a young man named Paul Burgin from the UK, who decided, with two of his friends and with the support of his family, to go the America and work for Senator Barack H. Obama on his campaign trail, I envy him.

Thirdly, I constantly read on Yahoo News about a a very famous lady Authoress, who has stated that if B.H.O becomes president of America he will be assassinated, because he is black. I believe in the power of affirmations, and that if they are repeated daily, they will happen, and in this case, not always by foreign terrorists. The Media could in part be responsible for an attempt on his life, it must be stopped.

Now to get back to my main topic: Millions of Dollars are being raised and spent on the American Presidential Election, some of which comes out of the private fortunes of the Candidates, which means that the Haves, have more chance of getting into public office, than the Have Not's,In this Election, there is one exception to this, Senator Barack H.Obama who raised almost all his finances from his Supporters country wide, I also understand that both he and his wife receive an income of less than $1,000,000 per year, between them, to cover all their outgoing expenses. What about the others?

How many millionaires are there in the USA, Canada and the UK, how many of them contribute to international charities, which are tax deductible?

But how many of them take the trouble to find individuals, groups and other worthy causes, in their own neighbourhood's, like the homeless, street children and teenagers, pensioners, war veterans and disabled people who are unwanted and uncared for, who cant find a job to enable them to eat and have a roof over their heads, in these so called man made Christian Societies, I do not understand where spirituality has gone.

How Many of these individuals help these unfortunate people without thinking of the Tax Rebate, please let me know of anybody in this category, because they should be congratulated.

This also applies to other income groups, who are willing and able to help those who are less fortunate than themselves, in their own neighbourhood's. Do you fall into any of the above categories, if you do please read and think about this Quote: "Being in the right place at the right time is not the Key. Realizing that you are there and doing something about it, is the Key" Are you in the right place to make these changes in 2008, please wake up to the needs of others, if you are able.

The divide between the Haves, and Have Not's, is growing at a tremendous rate, each year. What are the Haves doing about it? It is public knowledge, for example, that the the big corporations, and the wealthy give large tax deductible amounts, plus smaller gifts from the public, to the worlds big charities and in the end, the Have Not's, sometimes receive as little or less tha 10% of the total contributions, after the buildings, staff and other expenses are paid for. Hello Again Like minded Friends, I never imagined in my early life in London, UK. that I would survive ill health, get a job, with very little education, become a Buddhist, and as a 74 year old Holistic Activist, and as a Blogger on the Internet, live in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands, Spain with the support of my good friends, and that I would be supporting, as a European Citizen, a true Christian American man, who can help to change world history, with the help of the politically aware American citizens.

Life is full of surprises, which I, as an open minded Buddhist, and many millions of people, now call synchronicity, which has helped me to understand a great deal more about real spirituality, not that which is taught by outdated orthodox religions, and 20th century ideologies, who still support war and conquest, as a means to gain power over others.
