An alternative lifestyle is a way of life that differs from how the majority live their daily lives. There are people who prefer to live on the street, because they have been turned out of their homes, got divorced or they have got tired of the 9 to 5 concept.

I have been a vegetarian for over 40 years, because I got tired and nauseated by eating dead animals and two veg, vegetarianism is increacing worldwide. The gay and lesbian communities prefer to have a sexual relationship with their own gender. There are men and women who prefer to live in small communities, and share their interests and ideals with like minded people, or live in a monastary, ashram or convent with others who believe as they do. I believe that we experince a lifestyle that in part, could have come from experiences we had in a previous lifetime.

I have been interested in oriental philosophy since my early teens and I am a firm believer in reincarnation and the afterlife. I also sincerely believe that many of the issues that affect us in our present lifetime have been created in a previous life. The the worldwide violence and killing that we are expirencing today, in my humble opinion is the result of thousands of years of war, perpetuated by religious, political and military leaders who have experienced violence in war, or a violent death, in a previous lifetime.

Many people visiting this Blog, may wonder what Holistic means, there seems to be many different answers to this question. To answer this issue, I am going to quote a few words from an article by Fr Martin J.Patton of the hppt://www.infinityinst.com in Cincinnati, Ohio which I believe to be true. "The soul is material to the healing of the body. Emotions can drive the soul from the body and create disease. The immune function of the body is triggered from the soul, in every cell of the body." The joining of the body and soul, will lead to healing.

You can do a search on the internet, using the above question and judge for yourself. If all those people who are concerned with healing, would take the above into consideration, disease as we know it today, would be drastically reduced.

Many people seem to add the Word holistic to their marketing promotions as a means of selling their products or services. I am seeking the support of individuals who sincerely believe in the true meaning of the Holistic Practice.

Many people that I know seem to only look after themselves and forget the needs of the other guy, in thought word and deed. The holistic way of life accepts that the other guy is as important, as we are, because we understand that what we give out always returns to us, sometimes tenfold. It is also important that we love our higher selves, only then will we be able to truly pass love to others, and provide for their needs. More later.
